Camping

These posts aren't going to be in order, I mostly just blogged what I felt like at the moment. Last month we went camping with our friends the Vails and had a blast. We went on a little hike to a beautiful river where Eric jumped off the rock. Only Eric, it was a little cold for the rest of us. And of course Silas kept us entertained the majority of the time.

Portland and Pumpkins

We've been trying to be "adventurous" lately before this little one comes. A few weeks ago we spent a Saturday in Portland, Oregon which is only about 3 hours away. We went to the Saturday Market which is just a food and craft market every Saturday and we also visited the International Rose Test Garden which I image would be stunning during the summer but most of the roses were gone or dying when we went but it was still fun.
We also decided to get our pumpkins from a pumpkin patch this year! Neither of us had ever picked our own pumpkins so it was really fun. The carving pictures are soon to come!
Oh and of course here is a belly picture from a few weeks ago! This little girl is doing great! Hard to believe it's only almost 5 weeks away!

How do you raise a happy daughter? Love her mother.
