Awesome Weekend!

This last weekend was such a BLAST! I have tons of pictures but here's some info first. Spencer's parents as well as his sister Keriann and her family came to visit us in Washington! Thursday we went to Seattle and visited the Seattle Aquarium. Spencer and the kids loved the touch pool where you got to touch all sorts of starfish and sea cucumbers. My favorite part was the huge octopus! And of course the super cute seals and otters. That night we went to Forks and stayed in a hotels. Friday morning the boys got up super early to go on an all day fishing trip with a local guide while the girls slept in and then did the Twilight things! I'm going to have Spencer tell you all about his fishing trip which he loved, and I'll tell you all about Twilight. This isn't where the movie was actually filmed but it was where it supposedly took place. So although none of these places are the real deal it was still awesome and we had such a good time. We actually wanted to stay an extra night in Forks but the hotel was all booked up for the weekend and they said they've been like that pretty much every weekend since the movies came out! When the boys came back from their fishing trip we all went out to La Push beach which is on the Quileute Reservation and totally beautiful! After a bit of exploring we went to Port Angeles an stayed the night. Saturday we woke up and went swimming in the hotel pool for a bit and then went and had lunch by the beach. After that we went to Seqium (pronounced Squim, weird I know_ and we went to the Olympic Game Farm which is like a drive through zoo. most of the animals come right up to and sometimes IN your window to get bread but some o the animals were kept behind cages for good reason! The buffalo's were HUGE and so smelly!! The elk and some of the deer were not shy and trotting right up to the cars to get heir slice of bread. After the game farm we stopped to do some impromptu fishing and blackberry picking before heading home. Keri and her family had to leave Saturday night but Spencer's parents stayed until Sunday which mean we got some time to do a little extra exploring and relaxing. Such an amazing weekend and so fun to share it with such great people! So here's a ton of pictures and check back for Spencer's post about his fishing trip!
